Private Lessons

Our Private Lessons are tailored for students ages 7 and up, including adults of all experience levels. Each lesson is personalized to meet students where they are — focusing on their primary instrument while weaving technique and music theory into the songs they love to play. This individualized approach keeps learning engaging, relevant, and fun, while helping older kids and adults strengthen focus, creativity, and self-expression through the joy of making music.

Group Lessons

Our Group Lessons are ideal for families, friends, or bands who want to grow together musically. Designed for students with some prior experience on their instruments, these sessions focus on the art of making music with others — listening, collaborating, and blending as a team. Lessons incorporate songs the group chooses, along with teacher-recommended material to support specific musical goals. Playing in a group builds confidence, communication, and connection — valuable skills both on and off the stage.

Why should I take music lessons?

Taking music lessons at any age offers numerous health benefits, from boosting cognitive development and enhancing memory to improving emotional well-being and reducing stress. Whether you're a child developing critical academic and social skills or an adult looking to enhance brain plasticity and motor skills, learning an instrument provides scientifically proven advantages that can enrich your life in countless ways.

  • A study conducted by Dr. Laurel Trainor at McMaster University in 2006 found that young children who take music lessons show different brain development and improved memory over the course of a year compared to children who do not receive musical training.

  • A 1999 study by Catterall, Chapleau, and Iwanaga demonstrated that students who engage in music education score higher on standardized tests and have better school performance.

  • Dr. Eugenia Costa-Giomi’s 1999 study indicated that children who learn to play an instrument show improved social behavior and better interaction with peers.

  • A 2015 University of Vermont study by Dr. James Hudziak found that children who play musical instruments have better control over their emotions and exhibit lower levels of anxiety and aggression.

  • A 2011 study at Emory University, led by Dr. Brenda Hanna-Pladdy, revealed that older adults with musical training show improved memory and cognitive function compared to non-musicians.

  • Dr. Daisy Fancourt’s research at the Centre for Performance Science, UK, in 2016 showed that playing an instrument reduces stress and anxiety levels in adults.

  • At Harvard Medical School in 2012, Dr. Gottfried Schlaug found that playing a musical instrument improves fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in adults.
